After a long summer break, 32 of the best football teams from all over Europe your search begin continental Kings to be crowned when the group stage of the UEFA Champions League 2011-12 launches from this week.

Defending champion FC Barcelona, nine time tournament winner Real Madrid, English powerhouse Manchester United, Italian giants AC Milan and plenty of the usual suspects are all try to survive the first round and progress through the knockout to earn a place in the last May of next year in Munich Allianz Arena.

Last season his fourth Crown won by Barcelona team history. Can they repeat as champions?

CBC sports commentator Nigel Reed below provides this analysis and predictions for groups E, F, G and h.

Category A, B, C and D, click hereto read about.

Nigel Reed: He won already European silverware, but the new coach of Chelsea can repeat the performance at the elite level? André villas Boas, head of the London was chased after leading FC Porto to Europa League glory, but now is there pressure to do the same in the Champions League.

Chelsea is a regular contender and I expect that in this section of Valencia to the top. The question is, how far they can go? Not even the AVB was mentor, José Mourinho, able, Europe's biggest prize during his time in charge at Stamford Bridge to collect.

Nor have you set enough in reserve to the knock out day despite loss of young Spanish international midfielder Juan Mata, Valencia and Chelsea. They are traditionally quickly out of the blocks and the Mestalla Stadium remains the real fortresses of European football.

It is in the final 10 seasons, as Beyer Leverkusen. They lost to Real Madrid and have never again scale the height. Despite the influence of the experience of Michael Ballack the German have everything against while Genk a mountainous task after the loss of Defender Torben Joneleit a long-term injury.

Vorhersage: 1) Chelsea 2), 3) Bayer Leverkusen 4) Genk

Reed: is arsenal the consumed power of Europe? Many observers believe the Gunners best days behind them and League history seems the last champions of the claim. Since 2009, reached the semifinals there was a gradual decline. Last season, Arsene Wenger has made the team in the second round.

CESC Fabregas and Samir Nasri is injured. Players of this caliber are practically not in the short term replaced, the blow but the arrival of Mikel Arteta slightly soft. Robin van Persie have to stay healthy and become a significant impression clinical if arsenal is.

In an open Group a run for their money, each team will be Marseille. Coach of Didier Deschamps believes Borussia Dortmund is a force to reckoned upon his return to the Champions League and thinks the German are particularly hard on home soil.

Olympiacos FC arsenal accompanied into the second round last season, but I think the Greeks who go harder, this time find much. They certainly will play spoiler at home and earn some points on the way, but it is difficult to see how they survive the group stage of this term.

Vorhersage: 1) arsenal, 2) Marseille, 3) Borussia Dortmund 4) Olympiacos

Reed: g. skill Ukrainians think two questions about Group repeat, what they did last season, and as FC Porto fair without the man who brought so much success? Time will tell, of course, but both have high hopes of promotion beyond the group phase.

Shakhtar occupied a section and famous beat AS Roma, home and way last term above aside from Barcelona. Brazilian Eduardo and Luiz Adriano are born duo back for more and if you click again, the Ukrainians could be the team to beat.

Porto led André villas Boas last season, but his departure on an unprecedented heights after Chelsea leaves a question mark against the Portuguese champions. His former Assistant, Vitor Pereira has to fill big shoes, and his cause is helped by striker Falcao moving to Spain.

Zenit is back after a three-year hiatus and with Luciano Spalletti at the forefront and experience in the field, there is a chance, she could lead to problems for Shakhtar and Porto. APOEL proved much more difficult than many, intended in its first Champions League campaign, but Cypriots are probably on the back in 2011 to bring back.

Vorhersage: 1) Shakhtar Donetsk, 2) FC Porto 3) Zenit St. Petersburg, 4) APOEL

Reed: It is the group, the the tie of the round and most predictable few to produce the knockout. Barcelona and Milan will qualify from Group H and probably in that order, like the Spaniards kick off the defence of their title of champions.

Before a ball is kicked, Barcelona is the outstanding Favorites the first Club since Milan 1990 under the title successfully defend taken into account. The team has changed little, but the return of Fabregas only on the quality in midfield, while Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez is pushed for some time with a torn hamstring on the sidelines.

Milan feel, it's long overdue some European success. The seven time world champion was able to reach the quarterfinals in three tries since last lifting of the trophy in 2007. The Italian champions will certainly make the knockout and the quality in the competition go much deeper.

Belarusians BATE are always familiar Champions League participants, but in this company all that they are, while patting to qualify Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic from both Rosenborg and Copenhagen for the first time that is. This "Final" has already come and gone.

Vorhersage: 1) FC Barcelona, 2) AC Milan, 3) Bate Borisov, 4) Viktoria Pilsen
